I Am Angry

I ordered a computer from amazon.com on Oct 1st. I have amazon prime and would get free two day shipping however, because I was using a amazon gift card I would receive 11.00 dollars off which was the price to have it shipped over night. So naturally I decided to have my computer on delivered on Tuesday instead of waiting until Wednesday. Tuesday I was sent an email from amazon saying it would be a delay and I would not get my package until Thursday. I called immediately to find out why. I was told that my bank was delaying my order. Which was shocking to me because I had paid with an amazon gift card. That is some great customer service. Nothing makes me tingle inside like when I have a problem and I call a business and someone gives me a ready made answer without given my account a courtesy glance. I declined the rep's help and asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor just kept saying I understand in a cold monotone voice, which sounded like she didn't understand nor gave a shit. She told me my package would ship out on Tuesday and by the close of business I should have a tracking number, and I would get it Wednesday. Which I found out was a lie to get me off the phone. Now I'm waiting on my package, not because I'm excited to get my computer, but to cancel my amazon prime.

They handle hundreds of such calls everyday. It's not abnormal for them not to give you special attention. Customer service job is quite hectic. It's not possible for them to give you exact reason why it's delaying because it's the seller who posts the material and the customer service guys have no idea who is doing what.

@SW-User That is b.s. it takes too seconds to look at the account and not try and guess so you can get back to whatever conversation you were having.
