Surgical abortion is barbaric

I am not religious nor do I believe life begins at conception. I do not have anything against medical pill abortions as it’s not a baby yet. But can I just say the process of surgical abortion especially 2nd trimester and 3rd trimester and the way it is done is just barbaric and grotesque. And I’m not for mothers keeping a miscarriage in their wombs once the baby is dead. But 2nd and 3rd trimester dilation& excavation or currettage process knowing how it is done made me want to throw up. The pictures were ghastly too. Some people may say it’s a necessary evil, or that abortion is healthcare right. I’m not for abortion bans but I personally would never get a surgical abortion and think the baby should be Caesarian section delivered early ( especially with rape/sexual abuse victims and mothers who are health predicaments with their pregnancies ) so they don’t have to continue their pregnancies. and allowed to live as long as it can. My god who knew that knowing how later term abortion is done would make me more somewhat pro-life when I used to be more pro- choice.

Yeah, abortion is diabolical. I've seen some of the pictures and it's just sad.
I make exception for rape victims, severely disabled babies and the morning after pill
but in general I hate it.

I've been personally affected by abortion
and I always hear that "my body, my choice" spiel
but there's also the babies body involved.

I read on here someone said a pregnancy is just a mass of cells
but someone quite rightly said, what living thing is not a mass of cells?

As awful as it is, it is the process which, at least at that stage is pregnancy, has the lowest risk to the mother. To address one of your specific recommendation, if you were to do a c-section at 18 weeks, there is zero chance that the baby survives. So, for the baby, the outcome is the same. And you've put the mother through more stress and a surgery with higher risk. That's why it's done the way it's done.

I'm pro choice but when it's that far it shouldn't be allowed.

Expelling your baby into the toilet and down the sewer is not also barbaric? They take the pills, and this is what happens. Have you not seen miscarried or aborted fetus up to twelve weeks gestation? They are a child. A small child. It is a matter of growth. Not life.
Thankfully those are very rare without a medical necessity.

I am for whatever a person wants to do to their own body and me not having to pay for it that is between those people and their conscience I am not here to tell them what they can and can't do with their own body or force people to be incubated when they decide not to for whatever reason everybody gets in the middle of everyone else's fucking business and wants to govern everybody's life and I'm tired of it

@KingofBones1 but nobody ever asks the baby about having his or her body destroyed. That is where the whole my body my choice thing falls flat on its ass

All abortions are barbaric. Future generations will look back at abortion mills the same way we look at Nazi extermination camps and rightly so.
