"Accidental"?? What does that even mean. We do all know what the ultimate purpose of having sex is, riiight? You know you have an option to do that too, riiight?
Unless you are referring to rape?

It's repulsive to me. What others choose is on them.

@Magenta perhaps substituting unintentional is more appropriate. Not all sec is intended to produce a pregnancy. Sex can be the most beautiful, ultimate form of love.

Almost all, I use the almost to prevent arguments, types of contraceptives have a risk of failure. Alternatives mentioned are sort of "cop outs," such as the morning after pill, or such contraceptives like IDs, which both work by preventing a fertilized egg from implanting in a uterus.
