What makes a person truly evil? Are they born that way or did their environment make them that way?

Our nature, how we're raised and our life experiences all influences our decisions, but in the end the choice is up to us. There are those who are more influenced by their nature, others are more influenced by the way they were raised. But again it all comes down to choice. Even if you're a functioning sociopath you've made the decision at some point not to go out killing everyone you dont like, while others have done the opposite.

@Allelse: Well said , Allesle :) . No one gets the perfect circumstances . One who can defy the wrong circumstances and follow a wise path is truly great ! May be life is an opportunity for us to correct the wrong path we have chosen in the past .

For a long time all I had was the 'Nature, nurture and life experience' but it was missing something, a vital part and I realized that it was choice. That was the finale piece, choice.
