Can't tell if I'm a tomboy or if I'm trans...?

Doesn't matter anyway. It's not like I'd be able to transition without repulsing everyone I know.

And so what if you repulse everyone you know? Then you have to find new people who will accept you as you are.
You only get ONE life. Do not spend your life making other people happy! I learned that the hard way and wasted a great deal of years doing just that.
But they're my family, they're my friends. They're the people I've known for my entire lifetime. I can't just do that, you know?
I'm speaking from experience having ended up losing a large part of my family and friends because I'm a fgt btw. So I get it honestly, knowing how they'll react. But if you must you must.

be who u feel and dont worry about others.take care u first🌸
You're better off waiting until you can support yourself anyway
Even if I can support myself, I would never transition. Nobody I know would ever accept me. I'd have to literally detach myself from everyone I love to ever fathom doing something like that. And I'm not even sure so I wouldn't do something so brash...
If people around you aren't going to love you for who you are regardless of whether or not they agree what's the point of keeping them around? That's with anything.

I'm not saying that you're trans and definitely need to transition even if you are, but basing your decisions about what will make you happy and content as a person around the views of others even if you love them isn't sensible. You have to love yourself enough to be yourself.

It's not easy to do that, but people might surprise you. Or they might be worse, it's not something you should worry about honestly. Life is too short to clip you own wings

@Killers: Right. You only need to identify with the opposite gender to be a trans. How weird. It makes you wonder why they call it "trans" if you don't even need to transition.
@Reject: I think it's because most people who don't transition want to but they can't for one reason or another (money, relationships, etc.). If they could, they would, and most people who want it bad enough eventually do.

@Killers: Still, they aren't there yet. So it just feels wrong to me. That's like saying you're a engineer or something while you're still in elementary school. Maybe a "aspiring" trans would be better, but then again, it doesn't really matter. They're free to use those terms however they like.

Do you feel like you're a guy?

@Killers: being genderqueer is a thing
@sarahtree: Eh...not sure I want to be classified as that.

@Killers: ok skip labels
