Can't tell if I'm a tomboy or if I'm trans...?

Doesn't matter anyway. It's not like I'd be able to transition without repulsing everyone I know.

I wouldn't be so quick to determine that. There's a lot of things that I don't share on here that make it more ambiguous.

@Killers: I figured that tomboys were girls who acted boyish, while transsexuals were people who completely transitioned or are in the process of doing so.
@Reject: I'm under the understanding that trans people don't necessarily have to transition. If you concretely belief that you are of the opposite gender then you are trans regardless of whether you've started to transition or not. Tomboys on the other hand are, like you said, girls that act boyish. It doesn't have to do with their gender, it's just how they like to dress or what interests them.

@Killers: Right. You only need to identify with the opposite gender to be a trans. How weird. It makes you wonder why they call it "trans" if you don't even need to transition.
@Reject: I think it's because most people who don't transition want to but they can't for one reason or another (money, relationships, etc.). If they could, they would, and most people who want it bad enough eventually do.

@Killers: Still, they aren't there yet. So it just feels wrong to me. That's like saying you're a engineer or something while you're still in elementary school. Maybe a "aspiring" trans would be better, but then again, it doesn't really matter. They're free to use those terms however they like.
