This had to be one of the best interaction I had with an Indian woman in a Cafe setting. What do you feel?
So yeah in this chocolate Cafe of Church Street area of our city Bangalore in India, i initiated conversation with this solo woman who was having a dessert. So I initiated saying I am just saying Hi to new people and she replied positively. I even said "I am also kinda feeling bored while waiting for my dessert so just thought of saying Hi" and she literally laughed and said she understands. So I asked her whether she is studying or working and she said she is working now and I am said I just completed my MBA. So yeah she is about 22-25 age range and I am also 25. She then asked whether I am really new to Bangalore as I was saying that I was trying to socialize with new people but I said I am living in Bangalore for years but as MBA is over I am just exploring around the city more. Then we asked each other's names.
Her name sounded unique so I asked her which state she is from and she said she is from Assam which is one of the North East states of India. And then she literally guessed I am Bengali based on my last name and laughed haha. I then said "Yes I am from West Bengal so yeah basically your neighbor". She laughed and said yes and asked me what do I feel about the elections. Yeah 2026 Bengal elections were big as Mamata Banerjee is finally out of Chief Minister position after 15 years and they got a new CM. So I said her "I am feeling good. Finally Mamata is gone" with a smile and she literally laughed hard. I then asked her where in Assam she is from and she said Nagaon. I said one of my aunt lives in Krishnai of Assam but she said she never heard of Krishnai so I said it's near Goalpara and I said I am from Siliguri in West Bengal state. Then she said she heard it. I also asked her how was her day and she said she was in hospital and she is out now and just roaming around in Church Street now and she asked about me and I also said how my day went. She even initiated a handshake first and we eventually said each other have a good day. It's a shame i couldnt ask her Instagram.
