Thanks.
I've been told by numerous health care workers (doctors, shrinks, physiotherapists etc) to use ChatGPT for one reason or another, but I don't trust it.
It's become the new wikipedia, only even less trustworthy.

@TheRealBarbossa what if the doctors were honest and said, "You can probably use ChatGPT at home instead of paying me $200 a session when all I am going to do is use it." 😄

@HoeBag One doctors appointment costs me about 18 usd. Once I've paid a total of 300usd within the calendar year, it's free.
That includes all types of therapy, doctors appointments, blood work, getting medications, hospital appointments that aren't vital, and even some types of dental care.
(I'm a Norwegian living in Norway)

@TheRealBarbossa ahh okay, well in that case it isn't so bad. 🙂
The US health care system is complicated. If someone is below a certain income, health care is mostly free or heavily discounted cause the state pays it.
But for people with decent incomes, I imagine it is rid*culous.

I do not get why there are like 10,000 different AI's, I mean how many are even needed?
PLUS, hasn't AI been around for decades? Why are they acting like it is this a brand new thing?
I know we have a couple people here who use it for everything, and they cite the response. It ends up being 50 pages of scrolling. 🙄
I consulted ChatGPT about people who do that and it said -

Ain't nobody got time to read all that bullsh*t!

I prefer to think for myself. I don't want my brain to get lazy.
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
@JimboSaturn exactly, lazy minds are easy to manipulate

@Degbeme I know you're probably right

I asked AI if there was anything to worry about and it assured me that everything was working as it should and I shouldn't worry. 😏

My fear is the information is manipulated so I would rather do my own research and make my own conclusions.
I like chatgpt to help me :) its super useful
