I have no respect for people who disappear from peoples lives without a word

I just want to note that there are circumstances in which it's necessary...especially if you're not feeling safe ....

Maybe the person felt overwhelmed? Still communication is important if you actually care about that person

Welp, I've done it a few times for safety reasons because multiple times I've tried being honest and the person went nuts.

I'm also at a point in my life where I'm weird and require effort and patience to be around so I let people go on their way so I don't drag them down.

Sometimes I'm just so busy I get avoidant.

But yeah, I'm not a good or respectable person right now and I know it.
@ScreamingFox escaping an unsafe situation is of course understandable

Definitely hurtful to just leave someone hanging but I guess people have their reasons. As you say those reasons can take away the trust and respect that was once there.
@SpectralMourning oh it has

@pituitarypendulum Sorry, hope you're okay.
@SpectralMourning I'm doing just fine ..just need reminders of who I can and can't trust

Is it random though?
But I agree. Have the balls to tell someone they don't want to be a part of their life.
@itsnotimportant sometimes

To me, it would depend on the relationship. A parent disappearing from their kids' life is a really shitty move. A former friend I haven't talked to in a year or longer. 🤷🏻‍♀ I'm not going to give them shit for it.

Good morning, I see that you’re up and at it before the sun is ☀

I do it pretty easily

That is very disrespectful
