I'm 42 now and i am still the suicidal little boy i was when the thoughts first came up 30 or so years ago. I however found ways to anchor myself to life. For me it's the little things like for example an upcoming season of an anime i love or a game that is going to release in the next year or two or my muscles which i spend lots of time and sweat on and last but certainly not least my parents who are old but still alive and kicking.

I was watching my grandmother. She had been having dementia, been up for 40 hours. Had to guard her from leaving the house. Of course she was hungry all the time trying to replace the energy from not sleeping. Anyways. In the morning she was shaking couldn't get up and I was freaking out. Called mom. I'm told not to call the hospital cause hospice will stop working due to their contact if I called an ambulance. It was a while before she came till she decided yes call an ambulance it was noon. The paramedics when they came said I should have called sooner and basically said I killed my grandmother because she appeared to have had a stroke. So while she went to Columbus hospital I was not in a good frame of mind. Turns out she didn't have a stroke. And once again after all the crap was flushed out of her system from IV. Grandmother came out of dementia mode (again) and it turned out she didn't have a stroke. Suffice to say I hate paramedics now. For shooting me hatred and guilt and telling me I killed my grandmother. Eventually we finally switched to a hospice that didn't suck also.

I've had two panic attacks in my lifetime that were very severe.
One mental breakdown.
One suicide attempt.
(Only while taking medication have I ever attempted)
I struggle with anxiety on a daily basis and I've been depressed more times than I could count

@Justmeraeagain I was robbed at work and I had a panic attack when the dust settled he was still out there before they caught him, I saw him everywhere in my mind and one day I was crying so hard that I couldn't breathe it felt like I was about to pass out like I was in a tunnel and everything was going black so I kept telling myself to talk, you have to say something to catch your breath so the minute I started talking I could see clearly again

I'd have to talk to a professional to be sure what is a mental health episode in the first place. Apart from a few evidently insane moments, it's all too vague to me.
My preteen period, teens and a few years ago after a bad stay in the hospital and a near death experience. I was in pretty bad shape.

Around fifty years of major depressive disorder and anxiety and a couple two week 24 hour watches.
