You would have to ask about today, eh?

I went out and bought $52 worth of pastries... in my defense, I've been kinda sorta sticking to an exercise/dieting schedule for about 2 months now.

Yep, did uk insulin resistance creates an environment conducive to cancer? @rinkydinkydoink
@Wiseacre

uk insulin?

Unsure what you mean - but, I am pre-diabetic whatever that means. I don't really care to tell you the truth. I quit smoking and drinking already and I KNOW I'll never go back to that.

@rinkydinkydoink omg, that’s bc ur a sweet eater. Cut out all sweets to save your life.
@Wiseacre

Sweets are the hardest to quit... by far. Thanks for the gentle push to do so :D
@Wiseacre

LOL - - NOW I get you: uk meant "you know" and not United Kingdom.
Wiseacre · F
@rinkydinkydoink United Kingdom is in large letters. I cut out all sugar and feel more energetic. My desserts are fresh fruits, which have fructose, but is natural. No cookies, cakes, pies, ice cream, etc…no processed junk. If u’r pre diabetic, u’re on the wrong path. Keep ur blood sugar low.
@Wiseacre

Well... tomorrow morning I start walking around the block a couple of times with my walker again (after a week off). Why I've lapsed, I don't know. I always feel better afterward. And bye bye to the pastries.
Thanks for the pep talk :D

Give ur pastries away before u eat them all!@rinkydinkydoink

Why do u use a walker?@rinkydinkydoink
@Wiseacre

@Wiseacre

I'm old ( 77 in about 4 and 1/2 hrs) and my balance isn't that great.

I thought ur in ur 40s. I recommend the Mediterranean diet.@rinkydinkydoink
@Wiseacre

Discipline has never been a strength so I'll simply cut back on what I know is bad and eat/drink what is better/more nutritious.
