When someone betrays you, do you give them a chance to explain themselves or do you just remove yourself from their life completely?

I don't know I just feel that I could've said somethings but I didn't I just disappeared suddenly and aggressively without a trace.

I think it depends on a lot of factors and it's different with everyone.

Betrayal hurts, but soon I understand it's an aha moment and accept that they weren't meant to be in my life.
I don’t need their explanation.
Although it was a challenging lesson for me to overcome it and open new doors, it is a crucial aspect of life.
