I like going out and seeing how others have decorated their houses. I, myself, don't have the energy to go all out on decorating, but I enjoy seeing what other people can do.
No, it wasn't really celebrated in the UK when I was a kid. My bf and I don't have kids, so we don't really bother. I do buy a few sweets in case the kids come to the door
I celebrate Hallowe'en on Hallowe'en. My wife and I make a fire and distribute hot cider to the grown-ups and treats to the kids. I am peeved by people (and stores) starting Hallowe'en over a month early. But no doubt that is because the goyim have held onto so few holidays that the few they have left get ballooned out of all proportion.
@DeWayfarer Cabo san Lucas is my favorite 'spa' destination! I have 3 female business associates who all live in Scandinavia and twice a year, we all rendezvous in Cabos to do some sailing and kite surfing, while enjoying all the fruits of life that come our way! I love the energy of that place!
I contribute $$$ to a Halloween fund in my condo building which hosts pre-school children accompanied by their parents who show up at our building lobby between 6pm and 7pm while it's still daylight (but with our lobby lights turned off just to make it 'real').
But I always get dressed up in my usual skinny 'witch' costume with it's orange velvet-lined black cape over my shoulders, my black pointed witch's hat, my long-legged black leggings with a matching orange stripe down the side of each leg and black pointed witch's ankle boots, where I entertain kids (and teenagers too) who are confined as hospital residents not far from where I live.
