I had one cup of tea 4 hours before a blood test is the test skewed now?

@FoxyGoddess well FML indeed I cannot cancel the test they are taking my blood can they simply factor in the tea and sugar? If I drink a shit ton of water in before will I flush the tea and sugar quickly enough?

@jehova I don't think so. Call them and ask. You may just have to reschedule.

The tea was fine. It's the sugar that is what is going to give bad results.

@FoxyGoddess I can’t i had to travel to Boston for this from New York maybe I’ll just give it to them at 630pm but I doubt they will be open! Oh shisse

@FoxyGoddess internet says 8 to 12 hour fast maybe at 330pm ( 8 hours) is there anyway to ensure I get a valid blood draw?

@jehova You'd have to talk to the person who draws the blood. I don't know.
