How long does one need to fast prior to a blood test I added 2 packets of sugar

12 hours. Tea with sugar is a no no, so you'll have to fast again.

@FoxyGoddess internet says 8 to 12 hour fast maybe at 330pm ( 8 hours) is there anyway to ensure I get a valid blood draw?

@jehova You'd have to talk to the person who draws the blood. I don't know.
