Do you do things or think about doing things but you can't share them with your best friend because they don't share the same beliefs with you ?

We share a lot of the same beliefs, but one thing I experience that she doesn’t is clinical depression, and she doesn’t always understand that I can’t just "snap out of it" when it hits hard.

Yes, but he's a contradiction for having done the same things. That's another aspect of life you can find out, being judged for what they also did and they don't even see it.
I can't say that's ever been an issue with my best friends.

Both of my best friends are males. I try to talk to them about anything and everything. But its not always easy.

Not so much beliefs as tastes and moral values.
@EarthlingWise how did you end up becoming best friends with someone with different moral values?
@NerdyPotato We can share some moral values and not others. At some point we have to accept differences.
