I often wish that I didn’t have so many aspirations

That I dreamt of a much simpler life. I spend a lot of time thinking about all the things that I wish to accomplish.
Some people seem happy just doing pretty much nothing, living in the same place, just watching tv or hanging out with friends.
I want much more, to travel and be someone important, but it can sometimes make me a little unhappy.

Wanting more doesn’t make you broken; it makes you alive. Yes, it’s exhausting to crave a life beyond the mundane — but let’s be honest, you’d be terrible at doing nothing. You’d try it for a week, then start a podcast about it, accidentally gain a following, and suddenly you're giving TED talks titled "The Paradox of Passive Living."

So no, don’t wish for smaller dreams. Wish for stronger legs — you’ve got a mountain to climb, not a couch to melt into.

Wanting things you cant have is what makes people discontent.. appreciating what good you have is what makes one happy
