I thought the exact same and that's not joking .
People being telling you do this and do that with your life , run here and run there and that's what will make you happy and it doesn't.
It only creates more anxiety.
I'm a loner most of the time and I like it that way but I said what you said Iif anything happens to my parents I want out as well , but your spirit won't leave that happen my friend cause your spirit will drive you to hold onto your spirit .
It's not depression you have .
It's yourself finding yourself and that takes a lot of pain and tolerance. When the tolerance kicks in it's the thoughts that your thinking that your believing are making you depressed .
It's like saying I have no one left but your never alone there's always a spirit with you .
In the darkest hours you are still able to hear

The thing is, everyone in the world is here because their parents wanted them to be here and not because they asked to he born. That is the one of the reasons we as human species don’t go extinct, cause we procreate. So it may be depressive thoughts. I wouldn’t judge you though cause most of the time I don’t have the energy to leave my house. And this could be due to lack of vitamin D, since I don’t catch enough sun. There is a correlation of insufficient levels of vitamin D and depression.

I used to think that way too. Sometimes what realistic thinking is really is our limited view presenting as fact. I can bum myself out by thinking about good reasons why I feel bad sometimes and I can think of great ones, but does it serve me? Not really.
So I consciously choose to tell certain feelings to basically stfu sometimes 🤷 if I'm not enjoying my day or feeling meaning Its on me to do something about it. I don't know if any of that's relevant or helpful at all, but I lived with depression for a good bit of my life and finding purpose and meaning helped for me.
Maybe that's what you're after, logic is flawed by its own limitations, reason is subjective but it's what motivates us.

We've known each other here a long time and this is exactly what you need (and maybe someone else already mentioned it): A cause. Something you believe in and will fight for/help with/whatevaaah. Mine is animal welfare. A cause will give your life purpose.

Hate that you feel that way. Some of your posts and pics you’ve shared show off a lot of beauty you see in this world. I wish it was enough.

Keep in mind depression is about how you think about yourself, life, and everything and you will be convinced that you are right and realistic.
But uh, how could you? If you looked at someone else in an identical situation it's unlikely you'd give them the advice you are giving yourself.
Here's the best I have.
Change is certain. The future is unknown to you. This is the only life you have. Struggling through the bad times to find better ones is the only realistic, sensible choice you have.

Everyone was wanted by their parents, respect that, but also live your life to the full without over thinking the reason why.
It's most likely the depression, but I don't know enough about your circumstances to have an opinion.

90 percent of life is running with your head down at stuff. I mean, none of us asked to be here. I have just my mom left, and when she departs I will still be here.
Be happy. It pisses people off.
