Why are important people in power

for example POTUSes and candidates for other important positions not required to take IQ test and reveal their scores?
and im not even talking about their relevance. i feel like theres so much talk constantly round being smart, but somehow that is not normalized? dont u think its strange

In theory in democracy, anyone who can capture the people who should win can regardless of their intelligence. There's reason for this, while maybe misguided, would you trust if a voters list came with an IQ test?

Because they can’t let the truth be known. T bags IQ is apparently 73 which is incredibly low. Besides you really think they wouldn’t fake it? He literally wrote his own letter proving he was healthy enough to run. There are people who have estimated what various presidents IQ’s have been and honestly it’s not surprising.

@Captainjackass there would most likely be an abuse, but my point was more like its interesting why its not normalized. lucidity tests and other psycho tests r definitely required

@Captainjackass It wouldn’t surprise me, but there is no evidence that Trump even took an IQ test, much less that the results are public knowledge. His supposed 73 IQ test result has been comprehensively debunked by fact checkers across the political spectrum.

Yes I do. I think it goes back to the cave man days where the biggest tallest guy with the heaviest club was in charge

Because IQ tests, and even IQ itself, doesn't mean much. Being able to so some quick calculations or recognize patterns in squares and circles, doesn't really help with a strategy for foreign relationships for example.
