I think maybe he does understand that it's bad, he just needs your opinion or support, whatever the situation, and maybe even your help. Love him through it.

Most probably he understands, but need someone else to understand it too probably that why he is telling you, so you might have something to say on it or you might also have experienced something similar

At least he trusts you enough to tell you about it. Can you gently tell him how concerned you are?

@ThePatientAnarchist it's really good. And yes, I will. I think it's good to let it sit a moment.
Mostly I understand what he's talking about, I am just on the other side of it and I can see he doesn't see it as a problem. I just need to go about it gently, as you say

i think he's asking you for help without actually asking you.... he sounds like he's ashamed of something
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
@beermeplease i agree with this. He's opening a door for you don't let it close. If you sit on it he may take it as you not caring. Address it right then and there whenever he comes to you. Sometimes waiting can cause people to lose trust.

@AngelUnforgiven we did speak about it, but it's tough. He closes up super fast or will change the subject. 💙
Mostly it's just his addiction/familiarity to chaos
