So many people fight so hard to resist change. And that leaves the rest of us suffering with a sense of stagnation. I think the key thing you need to identify is not what you are looking to escape but what you are looking for. Otherwise you may end up somewhere new just to have the cycle repeat.

@ViciDraco thank you for this it’s also important to me that this isn’t just a cycle I want to create a sustainable change in my life somehow

That’s life my friend, as an adult, you get stuck into a certain routine but I can imagine it’s more daunting in a small town but a big city can also feel overwhelming and lonely 🤷🏻‍♂
Onyx235 · 22-25New
@IamBack there has to be more if there isn’t what’s the point?
IamBack · 31-35, M
@Onyx235 there is of course, you’re still starting out and have a lot to explore but I’m just saying in general, life as a responsible adult, is like that 🤷🏻‍♂
KingofBones1 · 46-50, M
I posted about something like that today on my Facebook. I said do you ever get the feeling people only want you around to fix their problems? Also meaning that when you go through yours you find yourself totally alone
Onyx235 · 22-25New
@KingofBones1 yea if I’m going to go through my problems alone anyway I’d rather just be alone at least I’d be free

Well, find a job in the city and rent a cheap flat. That's what most of us do.
Onyx235 · 22-25New
@BlueVeins I work in the city already and I could move into an apartment and keep working where I do but it seems pointless
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Onyx235 you might be surprised. A change of scenery can really change your life.
Jessmari · 46-50
Time to make a plan and save up for an adventure.
Onyx235 · 22-25New
