I've got a nice nest egg of cash saved and would like to try opening a coffee shop/sandwich bar. It would be all freshly made sandwiches and pre-order lunches etc. I've found a couple of areas where business is very busy, but there's not anywhere for people to go for breakfast/lunch. I'd ideally do it on a 2 year lease and see how it goes.

Whoever stumbled upon me on here already and paid attention knows that I've been wanting to move abroad for years. Now where exactly it should be and what would I do there are quite different questions. 😅
If anybody truly knew me and how I've lived so far they would know why it is such a big problem for me.

@CrazyMusicLover This is awesome!! I decided way back when I was in high school that I loved travel and wanted to work in Europe.
So, I made every decision from that point forward with that goal in mind. And I spent from October 2020 thru February of this year working in and among the capitals of Central & Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
You can do it.
Set a goal.
Define steps toward that goal.
Make every life decision based on whether it moves you toward or away from that goal.

Fine ... next step, how will you afford to do so and what skills do you have? Is your current career path condusive to this goal or do you need to change direction, etc. Ask all these questions, write down the answers, and start directing your life there.
Living abroad can be a simple as teaching English as a second language somewhere. Do you have teaching skills? (This is just one of a great number of examples.)

@tfan123 I haven't ever jumped. That'll be a tandem. I tried indoor skydiving. It's cool. Not sure how much it's like the real thing
