Will you eventually leave your home town or stay there forever?

I left mine 37 years ago and have no desire to return.
A small country town, nil work opportunities, bad weather most of the time. Small town mentality, gossips, everyone judging.
Why would you not want to go out and experience the world beyond the town/city boundaries?

I was a pandemic away from moving to the other side of the world, so I definitely have no qualms about leaving my home town behind. As for if I will… I’m not sure. At this point in my life, no. But who knows what the future holds.
