Yeah, I think past keeps rearing its head. I think it's unhealthy. I think need to break ties that associate it
@Bexsy I'm realizing this too. Childhood attachments to awful things like control and rejection... Oof.
We can't do this to ourselves. We're too amazing in other ways and deserve to bloom.

@MarbleMarvel you're right, we rock. Time we realize it and shine

Yes, too many bad memories that I don't admit I'm still busy with them....
@Heretochat It's not worth it to hold onto. It's stifling and we all deserve better. The people in our lives deserve better.

@MarbleMarvel rationally I agree completely....sadly I'm not always rational
Tumbleweed · F
Not anymore. Life is too precious to let yesterdays slow me down.
Prettybratbi1tch · 26-30, F
I definitely have those
Yep loads of them haha. It’s tough to unbreak that pattern.

@MarbleMarvel Right shadow work has been helpful for me in terms of independence. But I’m still attracted to the same patterns so idk.
@Notladylike maybe shadow work is just the beginning... I'm going to figure this out. I can't live how I'm living.
@MarbleMarvel Yeah you’re probably right there. Tell me when you’ve figured it out please!

Not so much at this point, no. I was really bad about it when I was a teenager though.

No, I moved away from it almost 30 years ago. Best choice I made was to run away from the hell hole and not look back

I could stand to drink perhaps a little less red wine 🤷♂
@Ferric67 you've talked before about getting rid of attachments, how'd you do it?
Ferric67 · M
@MarbleMarvel it's almost my natural intrinsic makeup to be detached
I almost feel as if I don't belong on earth with humans
They do nothing but disappoint me

It's a lot harder to take that baggage to the metaphorical dumpster. That's for sure
Turtlepower · 36-40, M
@MarbleMarvel if you figure it out let me know :) I usually end up burying it but it never goes away that way.
@Turtlepower I will figure it out. I can't do this anymore for real. I want my own life.
Turtlepower · 36-40, M
@MarbleMarvel I believe in you :)
Oh god do I ever
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
Yeah one very particular one, it's difficult to let go of
Captainjackass · 31-35, M
My rage. Never leave anywhere without it.
@Captainjackass it's interesting the more I look into it. The connection to self sabotage. I don't think I want it anymore
im attached to love and merriment and shenanigans

I have an unhealthy brain in general.
Yeah. They take a while to drop
