Yes and I should back off and it's only his election rallies going on in Canada, and they deserve to support who they choose, but I know how it can get much worse if we escalate into deeper issues like you mentioned

It is very sad that differing political views should split a family. Wouldn't it better, a lot more consturctive and ultimately more helpful, simply to ignore his posts?

I just blocked my cousin's ex girlfriend for her racist views. Oddly enough, I knew to expect that because that's how racist my mother's side of the family is... but I have to respect myself enough to draw a line to protect myself from having to read it - even if it means never seeing my second cousins again.

@ArishMell Yes it would but I couldn't resist myself when I stumbled upon their embracings of Pierre Polievre and their enthusiasm for him to be the next PM. And I really don't care about them anyway..We have no relationship for many years
