For me the answer is to not focus on anything that i cannot control. I dont know what the future holds, i may not even wake up tomorrow. So i don't even waste a second by dwelling on it. What i can do is try to just prepare myself for anything.

I was feeling awful after my breakup. I enquired about getting some hypnotherapy. I know how well it works having qualified in it myself. I would suggest you look into that too. Im just using a video from YouTube every night before sleep. Im feeling very different, my thoughts are more positive, im not talking myself out of things like i was before. I have plans and I am intent on carrying them out. I can send you a link if you're interested.

You could look into if it’s OCD because to me this sounds like it could be but I don’t know anything more about you. And I’m being very serious about that. Do some research on OCD and see if it fits you.
