Not really, no. The hours of daylight would be the same if we continue using British Summer Time or stay with GMT all year (as I think we should).
What's more important is the longer daylight and warmer weather means using less electricity and gas!

Not much, I’m retired. It didn’t affect me much before I retired. I liked having more daylight after getting home from work is all.
I had no idea. I was wondering why my phone read 9:26 and my truck clock read 8:26. 🤦🏻♂ Seems kind of early in the year to go daylight savings time.

Yes, it caused some confusion with the planning of an online meeting with our timezone difference now being smaller than most of the year.

Not really. But it did make my usually busy time in the store on Monday to a slow, not a single person has walked in the door, kind of day.
Rob04 · 18-21, M
Yeah I like it an hour back means more sleep. An hour fwd is a right pi55
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
Not really, I have weekends off so I don't lose any sleep. By Monday, I'm adjusted.
itsok · 31-35, F
I feel better having more daylight after work
tiltawhirl · 36-40, F
It makes me a little happier really
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@tiltawhirl It's going to be light out so late!
WindTherapy · 56-60, M
Not really. I set all my clocks the evening before. That way I know what it's going to feel like if I go to bed too late
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@WindTherapy Similarly with me, though I more often change the clocks in the morning.
noexpectations1 · 41-45, M
Yeah I got laid for a hour and 10 minutes!
bijouxbroussard · F
Not so much anymore. Before I retired it meant getting up for work in the dark.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@bijouxbroussard Same here... and driving home in the dark! That and working all day in a building with limited natural light may be why I ended up with slight Vitamin D deficiency.
Though it would make little difference keeping the same time-standard all year because the hours of darkness would be the same.

fun4us2b · M
@JimboSaturn when you are sleep deprived it makes a difference….
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@fun4us2b do youhave to work sunday mornings
fun4us2b · M
@JimboSaturn had to wake up 6am (5am) to send off my son from his visit….of course went to bed at midnight….bad timing I guess…
MyNameIsHurl · 41-45, F
It pisses me off a lot
One hour forward fucks up my sleep schedule for months. I wish they stopped doing that nonsense that started as nonsense already.

Not for another 6 weeks.
