As of maybe 5 years ago yes in my small town. In fact my neighbour had a pumpkin patch with the same set up and a farmer who sells his eggs like that. However my village is growing and city people are moving in.

It would turn into a community wood co-op. People buying some. Taking some. And replacing some. Everyone has a woodstove or fireplace in the neighborhood.

A few would pay but most would not

Our neighbours do the same for surplus vegetables, fruit, eggs. If the system is abused, people will stop doing it. Focuses the mind on what is a community . .

I would like to think I live in a honest neighborhood. I’m sure some people would take advantage but I would hope most would be honest.

No money and probably get 1000's of complaints against you for issues with the wood they took 🙄
