If someone was inside your car, when you lock it from inside the house with the car fob thingy. Would he be trapped in the car till morning?

Or can he open the door from the inside?

Nothing stopping them from just unlocking the door from their end. Electric locks will work regardless of the car running or not.

I’m afraid you’ll have to put more work into your private prison.
