Would u rather "text" message someone or call them on the phone ? 🤳

Greetings ladies, and gentlemen. So I want to know, do you prefer to text someone while having a nice formal or deep conversation. Or would you rather just call them up on the phone instead. I prefer calling. Most people would rather text nowadays, including family. I know, its like we are living in the twilight zone. But that is how things are now. People dont really wanna hear your voice like that. They wanna use their fingers because it makes them feel cool. Or does it. 😛 Please tell me right now. Do you prefer texting or calling. If so then state why if you do not mind.
Best answer wins. 🙂

It depends who I'm talking to. If it's someone I really like I prefer calling or hearing their voice, otherwise I prefer texts

@Jexie Thanks for BC!

Always phone for important or sensitive communication. Text is inadequate for conveying the tone and I've had a few near disasters where I was about to weigh in with a sharp response, but chose to call instead. That led to a very satisfactory clearing up of the issue and good relationships maintained.

This made me realize just how weird i am. If you were to look at my cellphone bill there may be just maybe be about 10 calls the entire month. I only call and text with my husband and 2 children. My phone never rings . Ever so often someone will call. I have 2 phones because my husband insisted i have a backup and low and behold yesterday my main phone had a messege saying sd card not detected so i had to use my backup

I dont know people's schedules or what they might be doing so i prefer to text.

Calls so I could also hear the expression of the person I'm communicating with.

@GunFinger Excellent answer.

I prefer calls. People know that if they text me they will get a one or two word reply.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@exexec Why.
exexec · 70-79, C
@Zonuss Until recently, I always had a flip phone, and it was too much trouble to type long answers. People learned to expect short replies from me, and I never told them any different. Call me if you require more than "yes," "no," or "maybe."

@jshm2 Ok.
I prefer actually talking to people.

Depends. Sometimes both. Companies don't want to do text for certain things anyway. They want to delay on documents. Delaying means less gets done. Therefore it costs them less.
Adogslife · 61-69, M
If it’s important, like you inferred:
1) in person conversation
2) phone conversation
3) text
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Adogslife Well said.
Prettybratbi1tch · 26-30, F
Depends on who it is
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Prettybratbi1tch Ok fair answer.
simjks4 · 22-25, M
I could care less tbh
th3r0n · 41-45, M
For enjoyment or complex matters, call

Basic stuff, text
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@th3r0n Ok.

For a deep conversation I definitely prefer talking over texting.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Musicman Good.

Text, because the sound quality of voice connections over cell networks is incredibly shitty.
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@Zonuss i disagree. It’s the quality of the sound. Way too many places I cannot get coverage(including inside my office). I grew up with landlines, and the sound quality of cell networks is a definite step down. And I have an excellent phone and the network I am on is supposed to be the best in my area. Perhaps it is because it is a digital rather than analog signal.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@trollslayer My phone is crystal clear sir. It depends on the phone, and the provider.
trollslayer · 46-50, M
@Zonuss well, I also have bad tinnitus and other hearing issues.
