To love and be loved are two different things. It takes time for love to click. Many spend only the time they spend for selecting and buying a cloth and end up only going to buy the next one as they get hooked to shopping and look for new arrivals

But love is like a tailor made cloth that takes quality time. Intimacy of the soul requires a lot of communication and exchange of thoughts, for the bonding to be strong. But most skip this part and assume the physical intimacy as soul intimacy due to their urgency.


Anything is possible as long as one approaches things with good intentions.

They are put there / here. Im an introvert also, and am ok on my own, however I do miss human contact, the physicality, a voice on the other side of the phone that actually cares about me, even the intimacy...all of it.

I do go out once in a while and make my attenpts to meet folks,some work out, more do not. Such is life though.

The older we get, the harder it becomes.
It could happen but it is a long shot.

Too many people our age have high standards that they themselves cannot live up to.

That and most of people are so settled in their routines that a relationship would just disrupt how they want to live.

My last relationship from five years ago ended on such a bad note that I haven't even thought about wanting to date.
