Is desire the source of all suffering?

Can one truely live without desire?
If not, Is life then nothing but suffering?
Granted that all desire is not equal and all suffering is not equal.
Contentment is the lack of desire.
Contentment is happiness.
Is death then contentment and happiness?

no, of course not. Desire is like acting on the hope that you see for your future self. What's wrong with that? Greed is a problem, I would like to think.

@nobodyishome Desire in my mind is like Jimmy Carter saying in Playboy that he had lust in his heart. It can be towards physical things, money, power, drugs, alcohol, or sex. The power to overcome these "needs/desires/addictions/urges" can be very seemingly hopeless without support.
The first step though is to be aware that one does have desires and that they can have consequences.

@Tastyfrzz No, that's clearly greed!

@nobodyishome but its not greed to desire food when youre starving?

@Tastyfrzz exactly. The wrong part, is, I think greed. Includes lust.
