Is desire the source of all suffering?

Can one truely live without desire?
If not, Is life then nothing but suffering?
Granted that all desire is not equal and all suffering is not equal.
Contentment is the lack of desire.
Contentment is happiness.
Is death then contentment and happiness?

no, of course not. Desire is like acting on the hope that you see for your future self. What's wrong with that? Greed is a problem, I would like to think.

True. I don’t think death is contentment because that’s why demons possess people.

I think fulfilling all reasonable desires where one is satisfied in life can help one become content and grateful for the experiences.

I feel this would be the best way to die.
