In a way, yes. In the 1950's, morality was actually a "thing" for young women. Young men refused to marry young women who were "fast".
In the 1960's and 1970's, during the Vietnam war, the communists began an active campaign in our country to undermine our moral fabric, and undermine the family as a source of our strength. "Free Love" and the hippie movement were all part of the Vietnam war protests, which were a psy op engineered by the communist north Vietnamese and the Chinese.
It was also part of a 45 Goal communist plan read into the annals of Congress. It was #40 of the plan. "40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce."
