We all look at people in cults as being unfortunate but I honestly don't think it's that bad.

I just don’t think if cults as being choice or people having free will. It seems like brainwashing, manipulation and captivity…even when they’re not aware of it

Cults are manipulation. I can’t think of one that doesn’t deserve torching.

Everyone does it to some extent, it's just prefering the company of like-minded people and not people that antagonize you

I wouldn't consider that a cult because it's not a few people having total control over a group of people. There are legal regulations that institutions like that have to follow. I'm against the private prison industry, but we wouldn't say a prison is a cult, since there are regulations and an entire bureaucracy having a say in how prisoners can be treated.

Cults by definition are bad but there are groups that are basically good cults and they're not really cults because they're good.
I enjoy my individual freedom a little bit too much but there's been a couple of groups that are kind of weird that I thought hey that's not a bad life for them.
There is a couple of oddball groups I could see myself being a part of for a little while not permanently.
