What is the cheapest, most effective way to completely change your personality without having to stop all your bad habits?

@Umile Good advice. But there always seems to be another bottom like a mine with a deeper shaft. Bitter is a very real outcome isn't it? I know about 'Dry Drunks' who are just miserable. I guess sober confronts one with all their wasted life
