What is the cheapest, most effective way to completely change your personality without having to stop all your bad habits?

2 things - Make the decision to do it and Make the decision to do it. Then say it to yourself if you forget. Also realize that it won't happen overnight, and don't give up if you slip...

@atlantic59 Yeah, I mean an event that deeply affects you and changes you inside. Like surviving a terrible accident or losing someone very close to you, for example.
