Should halloween be treated like a national holiday?

No! It's mid-September, and I'm sick of it already. People are actually putting up Halloween decorations the day after Labor Day. It's insane. Halloween used to be a DAY, a fun little thing for the kids. Now it's an overblown, overdone, commercial monstrosity.
