Am I just mean?

My boyfriend's (34) sister (23) lives with him and she is afraid of the dark.

He has siri activated lights in his house.
So he set up the hallways lights to go on when she's within a close radius.

He is often home, they have a dog and if she's home alone as its an apartment block the hallways light go on which would give her time to turn on the light.

I know it's not a big deal but it's one of the many things he does to "help" her.

I dunno she comes across very young for her 23 years. 😕 Observers perspective.

There may be more to the story that your boyfriend hasn't told you. In such a case, it might be best to lean toward compassion.

@DunningKruger there just seems to be a lot of things she has problems with. He can't cook lamb because she doesn't like the texture. She won't season chicken because she doesn't like the way it feels. She's afraid of the dark. She won't clean up her dogs vomit because she can't deal with such things.
I'm kinda over the ever growing list...

@DunningKruger it's all too much for me. I'd rather avoid her tbh. Which is what I do. I'll leave it at that
