Do you think other people see you the way you see yourself? Do you even want them to?

I have been told by several people how they see me, blows me away actually as it’s so, so flattering.

i do not see myself like this....but some of you probably do.....

No, they don't see me as I see me... and I don't want them to. I have let a few people into how I see myself, how I was raised to see myself - and it hurts them to see.

Those closest to me know how I see myself. They’ve been trying to convert me over to their vision for years. Just too stubborn for my own good.

No. I don't think they ever do fully. Maybe some facets or traits, but otherwise there is a plethora of subjectivity, interpretation and perception that gets skewed.

Few know me well enough for me to care how they see me ...

I think people would like me more or less the same. I am not for everyone and I'm okay with that.

I don`t even know how I see myself.

There's only a few who truly know/understand me.

I don’t see myself unless I look in the mirror and the mirror is where we all scrub up well to impress ourselves, we don’t see how we move or act and we only see a second of facial expressions. We look different on photos and it’s often disappointing. If in fact lots of people like me in real life how they see me, then I don’t care.

How I see me. Suicidal, depressed, desperate.

How I want to be seen. Calm, cool and collected. Comfortable in my own skin.

Absolutely not. But that’s because they don’t have to hear my internal commentary 24/7. …Thankfully. I would never want multiple versions of me in different bodies in my life. Would honestly just be too much to keep smiling and probably why I quickly distance myself from anyone who resembles my inner demons.

I always say no, they don't see me the same way. Glimpses of me but not everything. Ok by me that they don't.
