I haven't made a post for a long time

And I don't have anything much of interest to say.

BUT! I have a mundane complaint. It costs 30p now for a plastic bag from the supermarket. In how many years has it gone from a penny, to 2p, 5p, 10p?

I'm in favour of the idea and the reasons and I usually bring bags to re-use when I plan to go to the shops. Anyway, it just caught me by surprise 🤷‍♀️

We are not allowed to have plastic bags in the town where I live. We have to pay 10 cents each for a paper bag. I believe we are being "encouraged" to bring our own re-usable bags to the store.

@4meAndyou That's ok until it rains or.you have a heavy shop. I am not against bringing your own to reduce usage, it's just annoying when you 'pop in' and don't have a choice.

@helsbels Rain is the WORST. I won't go shopping when it is raining for that reason.
