Single storey flat. Stunning views. Close to foot path. Southerly exposure. Needs minor TLC.
PrestonJ · 36-40
Yeah just a little TLC. Maybe grind the walls a little and cut out some benches
SethGreene531 · M
@PrestonJ yep, a granite loveseat, and a cave wall fresco, and you can call it home.
What to do about a door, though🤔

I used to work with someone who drove his car into a wood every night and live there; he was on 80 grand a year (good wage in the UK) just didn't want to spend cash on accommodation.
PrestonJ · 36-40
I get it, especially since I want to travel a lot. Why spend so much on a place you don’t spend much time
WillaKissing · 56-60
Great for cooling in the summer yet a bit cold in the winter, and let's talk bats and bugs for a second. LOL
PrestonJ · 36-40
It’s more of a summer house. The bats live in the cave next door. It’s fenced off and has a sign warning of a $50,000 fine for disturbing a protected species.

Is that practical though do we really want to be living as a caveman/woman?
PrestonJ · 36-40
It could be fun for a little while. Especially if you started carving furniture into the rock.

[@prestonj ] 🤔yes i take your point but maybe a wee drafty in winter lol
PrestonJ · 36-40
@smiler2012 the neighboring entrance might be better the hole is only 5 feet wide and 3 feet tall.
Quimliqer · 70-79, M
Perhaps a bit breezy?
PrestonJ · 36-40
A little bit but you can go back a hundred feet and some boulders will block the wind
