@SunshineGirl A friend at work wrote this for me, but didn't say who by so it might be one of her's. I'll have to look it up.
P.s - Just googled her, lovely books. Wouldn't mind having a read of some and The Gruffalo I have heard of but not read before. I do like reading Shel Silverstein.

@SW-User She is one of the best contemporary childrens writers. My eldest niece had a favourite story that I can't remember the name of. It is about two little rabbits who go to the park. One loses her balloon and is distraught. Her friend does not have a replacement balloon, but comforts her and finds something else for them to play. It is a simple little story, but so beautifully written and illustrated that you don't even mind having to read it ten times in one day! 😊
