How dangerous were BB guns? Did you have one as a kid?

I had more than one. They aren't lethal except for smaller birds. After I'd killed a couple I got to feeling bad about it and only used mine for shooting tin cans and the like.

I did once, when my older brother kept picking on me, shoot him in the leg. Got an ass beating for that.

I had several! BB gun wars with the neighborhood kids were awesome back in the day. And nothing at all to do with how I lost my eye. 😂

Yes I had a few as a kid. I think my first one I was 8 years old shot my first 22 rifle at 12

Yes we all had one ... and lived to tell about it

They were problematic in that kids broke windows with them.
