Life lessons

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
teachmetiger210503 · 36-40, M
I have contentment is not that treasure among all the lessons in life. I appreciate the beauty of things I cannot reach but find pleasure whole heartedly in the simple pleasures of life.

What you project you receive.
WelshLovely · 46-50, F
That life is a privilege we're lucky to have and that tomorrow isn't guaranteed, so hug your loved ones, make the phonecalls to your friends that you keep putting off and find something to do with life that you enjoy x
devonman · 61-69, M
@WelshLovely Friendship is a gift . It needs some work and commitment to maintain them .
Strongtea · 22-25, M
To not bully people.
swirlie · 31-35, F
@Adwoa
If you're going to pretend that you're a psycho analyst, you're going to need a much better command of the English language with writing skills to match in order to pull that one off.
Strongtea · 22-25, M
I’ve not really thought too much about why I did it, but yes I suppose the reasons you mention are definitely at the heart of it.@Adwoa
Adwoa · 22-25, F
@swirlie lol fair enough I just read that back now prob was a lot of typo but it’s obvious to read in between the lines. Also being self aware is important for everyone and I love understanding how ppl minds work it’s fascinating :).
Rambler · 61-69, M
It will end, so don't waste it
probably the best collection of them were written down a little less than 2000 years ago by roman emperor marcus aurelius.

and it's better to be able to learn from others mistakes and guidance than insisting on finding out the hard way on my own.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Never to concern yourself with other peoples opinions of you. You are the one you have to face in the mirror every morning..😷
Adwoa · 22-25, F
@whowasthatmaskedman this is harder to do when young but I’d say becomes easier when you get older
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Adwoa Indeed it does.😷
Ynotisay · M
Happiness can't be defined by others, actions speak louder than words and staying physically active pays huge dividends.
Katie01 · F
Gaslighting and manipulation works wonders
Katie01 · F
@Adwoa yeah I'm something of a master at it
Adwoa · 22-25, F
@Katie01 what made you get into it and how did you figure out you were good at it?
Katie01 · F
@Adwoa idk it's just always come natural to me
ABCDEF7 · M
What continues when you discontinue to exist.
ABCDEF7 · M
@Adwoa I didn't said it's life that continues.
Adwoa · 22-25, F
@ABCDEF7 what are you referring to?
ABCDEF7 · M
@Adwoa For that you need to first understand who are you?
exexec · 61-69, C
Every day is a gift. Use it wisely and try to lift someone's spirits each day.
Slade · 56-60, M
Don't put your dick in cray-zee (luckily it took only a somewhat benign case for me)
Not to wear your Speedo to loose when you're jumping off the high dive
Everybody leaves at some point in one way or another
Adwoa · 22-25, F

That life is an illusion of reality.
SandWitch · 26-30, F
@swirlie
Wow! What a trip your life has been so far swirlie! I never had quite that traumatic a lifetime along my way, but I did experience some pretty raw sewage after I'd joined the Royal Swedish Navy the day after I graduated from high school. I came to the same conclusion that you did that this lifetime is nothing more than individual illusions we're all living and making up as we go along, some illusions being shared by others which makes the illusion appear even more real because those other people are onside with each other in their individual perspectives.
swirlie · 31-35, F
@SandWitch
YOU are deep! You must have lived in a submarine for too long, did you?
SandWitch · 26-30, F
@swirlie
... I lived in the basement of a submarine.. literally!
