Some things in life are very slow developing outside of your control, like staying healthy and fit to changing financials', or changing mental states of mind.
Example: I had a very nice nest egg built up and started to build my dream home on my farm on August of 2019, and though I have PTSD from childhood through 27 years in the Army I was in good a good mental place when I started the home build. On 10-21-2019 my 21-year-old son that was in the Army committed suicide with the Army calling the suicide dishonorable and not paying a dime for his funeral, so the cost I took with the funeral and home build ran me out of my nest egg cash without being able to finish the wiring and plumbing of the home build, and I went into a severe anger depression mode for the next three years before starting counseling January 6th, 2022.
So, now I am back on track mentally and trying to put every dang dime I can spare into the wiring and plumbing expenses as I can without having a nest egg to draw from. Once my home is completed, I will have taken my farm in a poor rural area from a $136,000 value to an estimated $460,000 so I will get my egg back if I sell.
Life can be a real roller coaster and a heavenly or hellish place depending upon the stressor of the moment, and it all takes time, money, and the mental fortitude to stick it out.
