Yes. Most of what is good involved helping my neighbors by driving to the semi distant but [i]good [/i]food pantry and loading up my car with food for them.
I started doing this because I was a ticked off that the Salvation Army delivers food to my low income neighbors during most of the year, but NOT during November and December. I guess right around the holidays, my low income neighbors are allowed to have a Thanksgiving and a Christmas meal, but they don't get to eat the rest of the two month period. 😡😡😡
Some guys from my church take the bulk of it in their SUV, and I can usually fit two food orders in my car. Since I've started doing this, and talked the guys from my church into helping me, my neighbors have become MUCH friendlier, and a lot of them seem to know my name now.
