Protesters who glue themselves to public roads, Yay or Nay?

Does this antic make you more susceptible to listen to their protest. Or do you just want to get to work?

I'm less inclined to listen to folk who take extreme action to voice their agenda. Just makes people hate you and your cause.

I support environmentalism, in the way that other thousands of people do, rewilding, habitat rehabilitation, community out reach. These are methods which are working NOW.

You and I help by cutting down plastic usage or using less electricity.

These folk? Railing at the world? If they could join all these efforts and initiatives they'd supercharge the cause.

Look at Boyan Slat, a man who went after the goal of cleaning up the Great Pacific Patch and started projects around the world of preventing the plastic from entering the ocean in the first place.

Dozens of communities, educated, trained and funded to effect change.

Or Mossy Earth, a group that supports rewinding efforts all across the world through public donations which they use to fund those efforts through already existing organisations who are working on the problem.

Or the dozens of universities who are working on renewable technology to find new ways to solve issues or improve what we already have.

I have no time for protesters when these other heroes are already doing their damndest to see our world healed.
