The Scholarship Student Tenant Complained About A Smell

I'm looking after the place and we get along well
But she kept saying: 'Can't you smell that smell'?
I didn't mention that bad speed
that destroyed my nasal cells

She said: 'I think it's here..- no, maybe over here..'
and that's when I worried about all of my worst fears:

-Was it me she smelled, cause I am more than grey...
Am I old and rotting and reeking with decay?
'Maybe it's my dog's coat, I'll wash her right away'
I said, being hopeful, but doubtful in a way;

She had he friend over
Who said she smelled it too
It wasn't specified for sure
If I was in the room

They are Scholarship students
Much smarter than me
And probably know a thing or two
Of College Life Hygiene

I know dead things live within me
-Could I have let some out?
could I have had escapees
From my ass or from my mouth?

I think if it was you, a couple of scholars would know and have enough tact to not single you out.

What kind of dog do you have?

Oh.. are there any plumping fixtures in the house that have gone weeks or months unused? It's possible the water in the p-traps evaporated and now sewer gas is entering. It smells like wet garbage. Plumbing fixtures include floor drains. Anything with a drain will be connected to a p-trap that's trapping out sewer gas. If its questionable, pour about 2 liters of water down each questionable drain.

@Jayciedubb update, there was a forgotten partially eaten casserole forgotten in the oven from a three or four days earlier.👍
