It happened, I lost it!

My mind, that is. A few minutes ago I went out to put the recycling in the container and saw that my car wasn't in the driveway. With a sinking feeling in my stomach, I dropped the small recycling can, rushed back inside, grabbed my phone, and started to dial 911.

Then I remembered, I left it at the shop this morning to get a tune-up.馃槖
I鈥檝e done something similar, looking for my car in a parking lot before remembering I was given a ride there 馃

@Ghostinthemachine

I'll be looking for my car and then I remembered that I drove my husband's truck.
@Kygirl haha yes I鈥檝e looked for my car and then remembered I was supposed to call for a ride

For me it鈥檚 probably because I鈥檓 getting old

Sort of like walking into a room and wondering why you are there?

@samueltyler2

Congratulations!!! You are officially old. 馃き
OntheroadM
@Degbeme Actually, as soon as I put my phone down, I thought "Crap, I'm getting old". 馃槀
Degbeme70-79, M
@Ontheroad Just think of all the things to come that you`ll forget about. 馃槵
OntheroadM
@Degbeme Yeah, I can hardly wait 馃槒
StanleyStark70-79, M
Yeah! When I feel like I'm losing it, I just go to bed and sleep it orf.

Join the crowd, I know that it's scary but at least you remembered that you had a car... 馃槀
OntheroadM

@Ontheroad

That you forgot that it was in the garage?
WaryWitchWandering36-40, F
I do shit like that all the time. It happens most when I鈥檓 spacing out/on autopilot
OntheroadM
@WaryWitchWandering Lately I'm beginning to believe I'm a space cadet.
GerOttman61-69, M
If it's at Pep Boy's I'd call anyway, you're going to get robbed!!
OntheroadM
@GerOttman Fortunately, we have a great neighborhood shop run by a vet and his wife. Prices are the best in town, they never do anything that isn't necessary. Will even tell you if what you think you need to be done isn't necessary, AND they get you in and get you out!

The downside is that they are so busy it takes at least a week to get an appointment.
ArtieKatM
I don't think you're the first lol!馃ぃ
